Hi Everyone: I'm here to research my mothers father and family (my grandfather). His full name is Caleb George Blunden. His birthplace was Bloomfield. He was born on the 10'th of October 1897. His mothers name was Bessie. He was in the Royal Navy Reserves, certificate # 2122X. I'd really like to get more background on him as we have very little knowledge of his life in Newfoundland. Merry Xmas Rob. Caleb George Blunden born 1897 to James G. Blunden and Elizabeth aka. Bessie Reader in Bonavista. He married Margaret Strong in 1925 daughter of Thomas Strong and Elizabeth Steele from Glace Bay Nova Scotia. |
