Hello!
I found this site and am very interested in finding out more about my family before a visit to the rock this September. But I can't find how to search this site is there no search box? Can someone help?
I have found out that my great grandfather was on the Schooner Pendragon when it went down.
Which now has peaked my interest. Look forward to finding out more.

On the home page near the bottom there is a search box that enables you to search the whole site.

You might wish to provide more names that you are searching, dates, and any other information that would help others understand what you are looking for. I assume your g-grandfather was Robert Blake who was 36 when the ship went down in 1914? Death records for Twillingate district, found on this site, show that Robert died from drowning on about July 20 1914. He was born in Peters Arm and his body was never recovered.

Good luck.
