Hi, My name is Mavis,I have been searching my family history for a couple of years, I love finding my ancestors and learning where they lived. My mothers family names are Stuckey, Jenkins, White and Rideout. My Fathers family are Barnes, Gidge ,Watkins. I have a couple areas where I haven't had any success.My grandmother Stuckey -Jessie(1902-1990), she married Pleamon Stuckey in 1922-Twillingate. On her marriage record her was listed as Jessie Lambert but the family was told that they raised her from a young age but she wasn't their daughter.I am trying to find her birth surname. Also looking for parents for Gertie Gidge who married John Boyd.John first married Emma Watkins in 1906, they had four children.She died in 1913 and he married Gertie. As far as I know Gertie had two children when she married John and they had two more children. |
