My g g grandfather, John Rose married Mary Walsh. unknown number of children but... one was my g grandfather David Rose who married Mary Ann Turner. They immigrated to North Sydney, Cape Breton in 1917 according to the 1921 census. They had 4 children, Mary Ellen, Daniel, John and Arthur. My grandfather is Arthur b. anywhere between 1879 and 1893. Since Rose records are sketchy to say the least, the family of John Rose attended the RC church in Harbor Breton which after correspondence with the Rooms, was burned along with a lot of records. But...David and Mary Ann baptized 2 of their children 1. Mary Ellen Rose and 2. Daniel Rose whose records I found at St. John's Basilica in St. John's. If anyone knows of this family, especially John Rose and/or Mary Walsh any information will be greatly appreciated. If needed, I have records from David Rose down.
