Hello, My name is Marjorie Long Ward, and now that I'm retired, I have time to devote to learning about my fathers ancestry. It is a combination of people from Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. The Newfies are the Murrays, who were RC and worshiped at St. Ann's in Searston. My great grandfather was Henry Murray married to Jane Downey of Inverness, NS. Will look for a Murray topic as I'm having great difficulty getting any further back than Henry. Cheers, Everyone! |
