 Post subject: Llangleecrag. Trying to find my uncle's grave. J Anderson

Hi everyone, looking for my Uncle's burial place. My mother is getting on and she the last time she said good by was on the Hull docks in the mid 1940's. I wand to find his grave he was the first man down the ladder after the wreck but was washed away.
I want to visit the wreck and put a paque on it but want place flowers on his grave.
Can anyone help

You should be able to see several photos and articles about this shipwreck.

It is my understanding that your uncle's body was located fairly quickly and probably buried at St. Anthony. However I could find no record of a headstone for him online. His fellow crew member, William Gammish Colling, was located a few weeks later near Flower's Cove and is buried there in the United Church Cemetery in that settlement. Here is a photo of his headstone:

Thank you for this information.
I am not sure what to do I have read all the accounts of the disaster, should there be a register of deaths somewhere I can look into?
Anyone know of anyone living today that I can contact.
