Hi, I'm new to the forum but not new to the site, which I love by the way. Been researching my family line in NFLD for some time now and am always searching for more info. The branches of my family tree consist of the Child's family from the west coast of NFLD through Solomon Child's from Dorset, England. The Frampton family from the south coast of NFLD who married into the Child's family. The Martin line (Port au Port & Harbour Grace areas) and Hunt line (Sandy Point & Stephenville areas). Essentially the west coast areas. However, I find that the farther back I go the more I see that my family is from all over the island. Would love to connect with other's whose families intersect with mine so that we could perhaps share what info we might have. |
