Hi Linda would like to share...have got stuck with who was your Lionel' s grandmother ... I have found that that on ancestory that Elizabeth Parsons is the candidate however A Elizabeth Parsons married Lionel's step brother Thomas ... have you been able to go back that far

I'd love to know Elizabeth's maiden name as well! Her husband Lionel was born 1748 in Cullompton, Devonshire and died 1822.

I thought Thomas was Lionel's brother, not stepbrother. But since I don't have a lot on Thomas, I could well be in error there. I do know Thomas died on a trip to the West Indies and was married to a Parsons from Harbour Grace.

Trishe and Linda;

On December 16, 2015, I posted the information you are seeking under the heading "Looking For", and the name Lionel Chancey.
