Hi to all,
I'm new to the NLGB Message Board but have used the NLGB site for many years as a research source. I live in Toronto although my birthplace is Boyd's Cove, Notre Dame Bay. I've been searching for many years for any data related to 3 Freake brothers, namely John, James & Elijah Freake (all born the 1830s) who were from Joe Batt's Arm. Two of the brothers relocated to Lewisporte in the 1860s with their wives and families and the 3rd brother John stayed in JBA.
If anyone has any information or potential leads I would really appreciate your response.
Many thanks,
Reg Freake

Hi Reg, You may already be aware of this, but have you tried to search using an older spelling of the Freake name (i.e. Freke) on this site -- that is the spelling that I am most familiar with from older records. If you search this site, as well as NLGenWeb, you will find baptisms for the individuals you mention.
