My research is in St John's and Grand Falls areas.

Charles William Foley son of Patrick and Mary Ann Ryan married Bridget Morris 1905. Charles was a painter - he moved his family to Grand Falls circa 1921.
Does anyone share an interest in this family?

I'm finding it difficult to work back as Patrick's marriage record doesn't give his father's name.
Any help would be welcome.

R C Basilica St John's 23 June 1867
Patrick Foley married Mary Anne Ryan witnessed by Henry Smith and Alice Connor.
The family lived King's Bridge Road where I found a death for a Patrick in 1890. He was aged 44 so a birthdate around 1846. Think this is him - don't know what his occupation was but a death notice appears in the local newspaper.

Hi, I e-mailed you some records but Could't find his record and there a several Patrick Foley's - popular name. Good luck on your hunting and I'll keep you in mind as I have Ryans.

Think I have all the children for Patrick.
Hadn't thought about a second marriage for Mary Anne Foley nee Ryan though! Hopefully not too many Conway's!

Really interested to find out what Patrick Foley's occupation was - also his origins - thought to be Ireland...

Bridget (Bride) Morris married his son Charles William Foley.
She was born about 1887 - I've not found her baptism but think her father may be Edward Morris - he is said to have been employed as a gardener at Government House. The Morris family are thought to have English origins.
