Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Looking for Info on my grandfather and his family,for some strange I keep coming up with very little.Name was William Porter,not certain where he was born,for some reason horwood,and change islands come to mind.Birth date was 1896 and he married Susie jones from exploits and both went on to become salvation army officers.He had brothers Walter and lemuel for sure and a sister who died young.Any info would be appreciated.
