I am looking for someone who is doing research in the Bay Roberts area who could help me establish the birth year of my g-g-grandmother, Patience Pritchard, married to John Hiscock. According to the death record I found in the Vital Records-Register of Deaths-Book 5, for St. Johns City District, 1909, page 58--Patience was born in Bay Roberts. It stated that she was 60 yrs old at death which would put her birth at about 1849. I have found other records that puts her birth at 1843.
Also, I have never found a marriage record for Patience Pritchard and John Hiscock. He was born in Bay de Verde, she in Bay Roberts and they lived their married life in St. Johns where all their children were born. I was wondering if they got married in Bay Roberts. She is listed as Church of England and he was Anglican.
