My mother was born in St Johns Nfld in 1917, and when her mother (Annie O'Toole) died in1926 her Father William Cousins tried to keep the family together. He was accused of a crime and subsequently fined $100 which he didn't have so spent 1 month in Jail. I have all the statements that my grandfather and the others involved made, and I have to say in this day and age he had no case to answer. However as a result of the jail time William was deported to UK with his 3 youngest daughters, my mother being one of them. I cannot find out what happened to William from 1930, until after WW2, when he asked to see 2 of the girls and was told no. I have no idea what happened to William Cousins after that point and can't find any trace. I would love to know how and where he ended up, so if anyone can help I would be so grateful.

Kind regards to all who read this
