In the 1921 NL Census there is a William Bailey, July 1887, Trinity East, but his wife Mary was born Dec 1889 and they had 5 children. If this Mary died and he remarried it might be your William, no record of what happened to children.
The 1935 NL Census (Humber District, Corner Brook) has your William Bailey (47) and Mary (34) with children Viola (9), Nellie (4) and Juanita (2). They do not seem to be in the 1945 NL Census
