I am a new member and I am looking for any family around Coley's point and Bay Roberts area?

This is from the 1921 Harbor Grace/ Coley's Point Census:

Will keep looking...do you have any names at all or dates?? Below is a site with Bowering's buried there....names listed below and on grave stone, with dates.

Here is also the website for the 1945 Census for Bay Roberts area in Port De Grave, and
it lists many many Bowering's. happy searching....
Also if you go up to Home up above and just put in Bowering, it will bring up many of their
families whether still living or their burial places.

yvette, Here is the notice of Heber Bowering's passing and list his other living relatives and their spouses. plus grandchildren and great grandchildren...

BOWERING, Heber
Coley's Point, NF
BOWERING, Heber Sr. passed peacefully away at his home in St. John's on Monday, January 7, 2002. Heber Bowering Sr. was born in Coley's Point, NF and upon his passing was in his 85th year. He retired in 1977 from an extensive career with the former Federal Department of Transport (Marine - now Coastguard) having spent over 40 years as a lighthouse facility inspector and supervisor throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. He is predeceased by his loving wife Annie Bowering (nee Burry); daughter-in-law Brenda MacFarlane-Bowering (Donald). He leaves to mourn his daughter Daphne Woolridge (Lorne), Grand Falls-Windsor; sons: Donald Bowering and Heber Bowering Jr. both of St. John's. Also left to mourn are 8 grandchildren: Bryan Woolridge, St. John's, Craig Woolridge, Halifax, Bradley, Ginnette and Renee Bowering all of Moncton; Mark Bowering and Julie Bowering (Mike Spearns) both of St. John's; Karen Horne (Bob), Oregon, USA; great-grandchildren Nicole Horne and Andrew Spearns; daughter-in-law Helen Bowering; brother Nathan Bowering (Geneva); sisters: Eleanor Bowering, Jean Mercer (Ted) and Ruth Bowering (Gerald), nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road with visitation on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral service takes place from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, January 10, 2002 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation
