Hello

My name is Dave Seviour and I've joined this site hoping to find some information on my great-grandfather who was born in Newfoundland. I have also posted by surname.

I beleive there are Sceviors in Central Newfoundland. If you are on Facebook, go to the "Pt. Leamington and Bobby's Cove" group. One of the regular posters is a Scevior -- I don't recall his name right now but he is interested in family history and he might be able to help you.

Hi Barb

Thanks for this - sorry to be so long responding but have just got back from holiday, including a brief visit to Newfoundland. Only had time to visit St Anthony/L'Anse aux meadows, Bonavista and ST Johns - but hopefully will be back for longer next time.
