My name is Heather Oxford Jewer of Springdale. My paternal grandmother Ellen (called Nellie) Hudson moved to the area from Adam's Cove on the Avalon peninsula. She came to the area as a preacher in the Pentecostal church in South Brook. I know her father's name was Henry Hudson and I believe her mother's first name was Elizabeth but no one seems to know what her maiden name was. Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated!!
