Good evening My name is Allan Kennedy. I am looking forward to finding out some information on my GGrandparents and My Grandfather. My GGrandfather came to Tilt Cove NF from Ireland. My Grandfather was born in Tilt Cove. I will post more info in the right area.

Hi Allan,
I'm always on the lookout for Kennedys that are not from St. John's. I've searched, and my line doesn't seem to be related to them, or the Crocker Cove Kennedy's. Although it appears that my line of Kennedys did marry into some other groups of Kennedys, they appear to be from somewhere else. I am now looking at Trepassey and Ferryland.

Hi, I am looking for information on the Dorothy Kennedy, daughter of Thomas Kennedy and Louisa Cooper. Dorothy was married to John Allen Stuckless. Any help would be appreciated.

"On June 6, 1895, Thomas KENNEDY, age 23, labourer, Tilt Cove, father John Kennedy, married Louisa COOPER, age 22, Tilt Cove, father Levi Cooper, in Alexander Sergeant's dwelling house, Tilt Cove, by Arthur Pittman. Witnesses: George Cooper, Alice Harney, Levi Cooper."

Levi COOPER, died Sept 5 1903, at Tilt Cove, old age, 70 years, ME,
born Grates Cove, Married Dec 2 1856, at Lower Island Cove, Conception Bay to Elizabeth JOHNSON (of Lower Island Cove). Moved to Green Bay NDB sometime after 1859.

Thomas Kennedy of Tilt Cove....who married Louisa Cooper, daughter of Levi Cooper.....may have been born at St. John's, son of John Kennedy.
