Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Hello! I am looking for information on - William and Elizabeth Rice. Their children were born in Pound Cove from 1882 - 1889. There is another couple - also in that area named William and Elizabeth Rice - which makes it tricky! I'd like to know when and where they were married.

My William was the postmaster in White Bay until about 1902 when they moved to St. John's. I'd like to figure out why they moved.

Elizabeth was born Elizabeth Gosse in Spaniard's Bay in 1954 to Bartholomew and ? Elizabeth. I'd like to research her parents. I would also like to figure out how she met and married William and moved to Pound Cove.

Any insights are greatly appreciated!
