John Kendall was born in Dorsetshire England and came to NL in 1812 with the Newman and Company. He lived in Harbour Breton first and married Sarah in 1838 then later moved to Furbey's Cove. After his first son Robert was born, they moved to Western Point and had two more children, Thomas and William. Then they moved to Ramea where the stayed.

My question is, What is Sarah's maiden name and who are her parents. Can anyone solve this mystery for me. I'm sure all the Kendalls would like to know.

I would love to know as well. I've seen a date of 1838 for their marriage which implies that there is a record in existence out there somewhere. I've never found a marriage record that did not contain the bride's maiden name. Most of my information is bare bones from the Ramea Family Tree book. For the record I am a descendant of his Grandson William Robert Kendall son of John and Evelyn Keeping
