Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Looking for anyone that may have any info leading to the identity of my grandfather, George Harold Jennings, born March 4, 1927 in St. John's. Was adopted by Embree and Pauline Jennings of Moreton's Harbour. Rumoured that Embree was his biological father but never confirmed. On a 1935 census record of |Moreton's Harbour, George is listed as "Harold Kenley" a lodger in the Jennings home. I am only to assume that this was my grandfather's name prior to being adopted? Not sure. Anyways, anyone having any helpful information would be greatly appreciated!
