Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

My mother, elizabeth mary clark, was born in 1914 the youngest of 10. She was left an orphan in 1917 when both parents died. At some point she was placed in the orphanage of Belvedere. I wondered when she entered there and was she with extended family until then. I have researched the Belvedere somewhat but when asking for anything about her records there was no reply. Martha, do you know where in Newfoundland your Mother was born? That might narrow the search somewhat for other members of her family.
