Hi everyone,

I have become somewhat obsessed with genealogy research and have found this site to be very helpful. I have turned 60 :shock: and enjoy travel and photography, both of which go along with genealogy.

My ancestors came from Ireland to Newfoundland and Montreal, and my great-grandparents eventually settled in Chicago, Illinois. I live about 90 miles west of Chicago in Rockford, Illinois.
