There is a James Anderson (b. 1863) Burgeo (Otters Point) and moved to Ramea Island when he married Hannah Payne (b. 1868) in 1888 in Ramea. They had 5 children, Mary Theresa (b.1890, d. 1893), Llewellyn (b. 1893), Hubert (b. 1895), Howard William Hewitt (b. 1898) and Bessie Laura (b. 1900).
There are Charles and Meshach Meade who came to Ramea sometime before 1864, possibly from White Bear bay, brother John came later, by 1871 they where all in Ramea. Meshach married Catherine (unknown) and they had 3 children, George (b. 1861), Joshua (b. 1864) and mary Ann (b. 1864). Charles married Mary Rose in 1865, no children listed. John married Sarah Warren (widow) in 1863 and had 2 children, George (b. 1864) and Meshach (b. 1867).
There is also a James listed who married a Caroline (unknown) and they had one child Reuben (b.1883).
Any connection with the people you are looking for?

The information came from the book "Ramea's Family Tree" by Victor G and Victor Kendall.
It was a limited edition book on the genealogy of Ramea, Ramea Island from early 1800 to 1960's. The Anderson's and Meade's where not directly related to my family (Hatcher) as far as I can tell, but the information was available so I passed it on.

I have a photocopy, with permission of one of the authors, the book has been out of print for years. The Maritime University Library in St John's has a copy, I've seached every used book store in Atlantic Canada online and the only one I found was in Texas and they wanted $175 US for it, I only paid $30 for a photocopy and that was mailed to me in Alberta.

Death records I have are 1898 to 1941 so I can't help with Robert but I believe your Mary Ann Anderson died 13 Feb 1924 (57) from TB, she was born in Burgeo, died in Burgeo and buried in Burgeo. The age is not quite right as per her age at marriage, but the register is a transcription of district records, so maybe the transcriber couldn't read the writing very well.

Hi,thank-you.what info i have on Mary-Ann Anderson says she was born in Old Mans Bay,and you tell me she was born in 1864.i think i had gotten that from the 1921 cenus of nl, being born there.i know she was not very old when she passed away.Robert Anderson lived with my father until he passed away in 1956.dad as told me that when he was born in 1930, she was not living then, as told to him by his mother Catherine daughter of Robert and Mary-Ann.if you dont have any thing else i will use that date as her death.does your death records just cover the Burgeo area,would like to know the passing of Meshach MEAD or his wife Catherine.thank-you for all of the info and your time in helping me.ron.

The only other Mary Andersons are;
Mary Ann Anderson (59) from Mouse Island, died of cancer, but she was C of E. and
Mary Anderson (83) from Burgeo, died of old age, Methodist, the one I gave you was also listed as Methodist.
The records I have are for the District of Burgeo & LaPoile, I will have a look for the Meade's
