I spent 3 summers in the 1970s & 1980s as a child/teen living with my Uncle Tom & Aunt Emma (Miller) Verge in Old Bonaventure, and other aunts in St. John's. Spent time in New Bonaventure as well with my cousin.
my grandmother, who was reard up by caroline hoskins in sunnyside married a william bailey 1888 .
don't know if this bailey is in your roots .
