Hi!
We are also new to this site and are looking for information on the Grace family in Torbay/Flatrock. We are related to Simon Grace of Flatrock, who was born circa 1851. Do you have any information on the Grace family?

Hello;
I am tracing the RYAN family of Torbay who lived on Lynche's Lane (Southside, Freshwater, Newton)? before most of them moved to the Eastern Seaboard States in the early decades of the 1900s.
My direct family tree prior to my Great Grandparents Patrick Ryan & Johanna Bulger requires further work.
However:-
It appears that my Great Great Grandfather John Ryan (b. May 20, 1818, d, Feb. 10, 1888)
Married Nov.22, 1845 (Witnessed Talinger and Darcy Power)
My Great Great Grandmother Ellen Grace (b. - - 1820 , d. May 20, 1904)
John and Ellen moved to Boston where several of their children were born. He eventually returned to Middle Cove and developed a Government grant of land.
Let me know if Ellen Grace fits into your research.
