Am researching LeGrow from Broad Cove, Bay Roberts area, looking for info on the following: 1) James Parsons m. Amelia Crane d/o George Crane & Amelia Badcock or Babcock; 2) Moses King m. Phoebe Thistle, Broad Cove, 1837 (their grandson Wm. LeGrow settled in Chelsea, MA, m. Ellen Parsons; 3) Charles Parsons, wife unknown, was father of James m. Amelia Crane. Will be happy to share info.

What I have is a James Parsons m. Amelia (nee ?). The children I have for them were Mary Fanny Parsons (b. July 10th, 1886), Charles Samuel Parsons (b. July 27th, 1887), Charles William Parsons (b, Aug 1897). This is not confirmed.
James Parsons siblings might have been Mary Jane Parsons (b. 1846 and died Jan 10, 1929). I have a Mary Jane Parsons m. a Mr. Sparkes as well as a Joseph Parsons. Another sibling might have been Isaac Parsons (b. August 1854). Isaac's wife is unknown though had a son named William A. Parsons (m. Lenora (nee ?)). William A. Parson and his wife had Samuel, May, and Ralph Parsons.
The Badcock vs. Babcock: The Badcock name is MORE common then Babcock name.
