I am researching the family of John J Howard (1854-1917 Daniel's Cove) and his wife Margaret Hyde (abt 1856 - Bay de Verde). My grandmother, Agatha Howard (1890-1967), was their daughter. Agatha married John Perley Swett (1889-1958 Gloucester, Massachusetts), and they had three daughters. Agatha's life remains a mystery, as she left her husband and three daughters after the birth of my mother. Agatha is buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, Massachusetts. I am interested in information about the family, their life in Daniel's Cove, and from where, and when, the Howard(s) came to NL.
