Newfoundland's Grand Banks Message Board

Hello,
My name is Judith and I live in southern New Mexico. My mother was a Joyce from Carbonear. She died when I was very young. Now that I'm retired I have time to search for my roots -- Joyce and Froud on my mother's side, Sinyard and Sully on my father's. They were all from Newfoundland. I'm just beginning to learn where the various towns are located on the island. I look forward to piecing together a history of my people.
