Hello Donna I have been trying to find out information on my Mercer side of the family also. My gg-grandmother is Virtue Mercer who we believe is from Chamberlains, Nfld. She married a William Hoggan from Grennok, Scotland. I have no dates for either of them, but i know they had 2 girls. Williamina Margaret Hoggan born in 1890 in Grennok, Scotland. And Ethal Hoggan born in Little bay Islands, Nfld. Hope we will be able to help each other out with some family names. Keep in touch Barb
