Hi...

I'm having trouble finding out the birth dates of my ggrandfather Lawrence Redmond & ggrandmother Catherine Driscoll. (Circa 1850) I have found info on my ggggrandfather Cornelius Driscoll (Birthdate 1805) and ggggrandmother Sarah Madden or Eleanor Duggan. Cornelius married twice. The reason I believe this is correct is because through DNA I found a first cousin twice removed or second cousin twice removed related to this line.

What I can't understand is why it is so difficult to get a birth date for my ggrandmother Catherine Driscoll. I can't pinpoint her father.

My Great Grandmother is Agnes Driscoll and her father is Michael Driscoll from Lower Island Cove. I had my DNA tested through Family Tree DNA and am wondering if you show up as related to me but I don't know your name.

Last name is Holt . I don't think I have an Agnes or a Michael in my searching . But there are so many Driscolls in my tree that perhaps there is a relationship. My DNA was tested thru Ancestry.
