Supreme Court of Newfoundland Be it Remembered, That on this ninth day of December in the Fifty Third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady VICTORIA, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen, Defender of the Faith, &c, and in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-nine personally appeared Nehemiah Frost of Trinity Bay, Planter, Alexander Rodger of St. John's, Merchant and Alexander F. Shirran of St. John's, Merchant and did acknowledge themselves to be held and firmly bound to our said Lady the Queen, her Heirs and Successors, in the penal Sum of Two Thousand Eight Hundred * NOW THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH, That if the above bounden Nehemiah Frost ** Nehemiah Frost (Seal) Signed and Sealed Alex Rodger (Seal)

To the Honourable the Supreme Court of Newfoundland or to one of the Honourable the Judges thereof The Petition of Nehemiah Frost of Northern Bight in Trinity Bay at present of Saint John's, Trader. Humbly Sheweth That Sarah Frost, Drucilla Frost, William Frost and Louisa Frost, children of Petitioner, aged respectively, seventeen, sixteen, ten and eight years, are entitled to the sum of about thirteen hundred and eighty dollars being amounts deposited at interest, at various times in the names of the said children with Archibald Sillars, late of Saint John's, Merchant, deceased.
